Welcome to Slick Week 2026! Join Melbourne Rubber as we kick off a week of celebration, connection, and all things rubber with Welcome Drinks at LCKR Room, located on the iconic Smith Street in the heart of Melbourne's LGBTQIA+ nightlife.
🍻 This is a free community event. No tickets are required, simply come along and enjoy a relaxed evening of drinks, conversation, and community as we officially welcome everyone to Slick Week 2026. Catch up with familiar faces, welcome visitors from across Australia and around the world, and make some new friends before an unforgettable week begins. Whether you're attending your first Slick or returning for another year, we'd love to welcome you for a drink and help celebrate the start of the week.

LCKR Room offers step-free access to the venue, an accessible ground-floor layout, and accessible bathroom facilities suitable for most mobility needs.
The venue is conveniently located on Smith Street with nearby tram stops providing easy public transport access.

🚋 How To Get There
LCKR Room is located on Smith Street in Collingwood, one of Melbourne's most iconic LGBTQIA+ neighbourhoods, and is easily accessible by public transport.
Tram Route 86 runs directly along Smith Street, with stops just a short walk from the venue. Tram Routes 12 and 109 also stop nearby along Victoria Parade, approximately a 5–10 minute walk away.
Limited street parking is available nearby; however, we recommend travelling by public transport or rideshare where possible.

There is no strict dress code for this event; however, rubber, latex, neoprene, leather, uniforms, fantasy, and other fetish attire are warmly encouraged.
To help ensure our events remain welcoming and inclusive, clothing or insignia featuring swastikas, police uniforms, or police badges are not permitted. Attendees displaying these items may be refused entry until they have changed their attire.
If you're wearing spikes or other accessories that may pose a risk in crowded spaces, please be mindful of those around you.
Cloaking facilities are available at most Slick Week events.
