The Geotechnical Society of Edmonton and the University of
Alberta Geotechnical Centre invite you to our fall welcome back BBQ. Let’s have a fun time meeting new and returning students and networking with GSE members. GSE will award students for the Morgenstern Student Award, NAIT Student Award and the GSE Conference Student Paper Award. Ticket tiers:
- New students (starting in September 2026): Free
- Students $5
- GSE Members $20
- Non-GSE Members $25
The ticket Includes prepaid bar beverage: Beer (473ml can), Highball (1oz), House Wine (5oz), or Non-Alcoholic Beer. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers incidental to any games or events for which this ticket is issued and waives all claims against the University of Alberta Canadian Geotechnical Society Student Chapter, and the Governors of the University of Alberta whether or not such claims arise from the negligence of any of the said parties.
