This ceremony is being held to welcome new babies and connect them with Elders, Traditional Custodians, health services & community members.About this Event
West Moreton Health is holding the 2024 Welcome Baby to Community ceremony for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander babies born at Ipswich Hospital last year.
The ceremony will include a traditional smoking, traditional performances, gift and certificate presentation, and light refreshments.
We acknowledge it takes a community to raise a child and are pleased to facilitate this get-together for First Nations families.
