The Welcome Aboard Brief is designed to provide key information and resources to ensure a smooth transition for you and your families. During this brief, you will receive important updates on life at the base and how to access resources and services.
Topics discussed will include:
Base Services and Amenities - Overview of essential services, such as medical facilities, commissary, exchange, and fitness centers.
Relocation Assistance - Guidance on housing, transportation, and accessing resources through the Relocation Assistance Program (RAP).
Childcare and School Information - Details on childcare options, school enrollment, and youth programs to support your family.
Sponsorship and Family Readiness - Introduction to the Sponsorship Program and Family Readiness Officers (FRO) for ongoing support and connection to your new community.
Local Area Orientation - Information on local attractions, shopping, dining, and community activities to help you settle in and explore your new surroundings.
Per Marine Corps Order 1754.10B, attendance is mandatory for all newly arrived military personnel in the grades of E-1 through E-6, WO-1 and O-1 through O-2 within 90 days of arrival at a new duty station. All others are highly encouraged to attend.
