It's the LAST Weird Wednesday of the Summer!
WHAT’S THE WHEEL OF WEIRD?!
The Wheel of Weird contains the titles of 14 different genre films. Raffle tickets will be sold during the market. One lucky winner will get a WEIRD WEDNESDAY T-SHIRT, a NINTENDO 64 CONSOLE, and SPIN THE WHEEL OF WEIRD that’ll determine the movie of the night. Drawing will be held at 8pm in the chapel.
Must be present to win.
SPECIAL THANK YOU TO DFW RETRO SHOP FOR DONATING THE NINTENDO 64!
The Movie Mutant takes over Southside Preservation Hall in Fort Worth for a night of movies, art, collectors, and more. There’s free parking, food on-site, and it’s BYOB.
The Night Market starts at 5pm and there are two rooms featuring over 40 local artists, collectors, and more. Macabre Alley is a specially curated room of vendors that specialize in oddities, mysticism, cryptids, and horror.
At 7pm, the Vintage Video Preshow starts in the chapel. There you’ll see a collection of trailers, shorts, and blasts from the past. It’s all connected with the theme of the secret movie for the night. Then at 8pm The Movie Mutant introduces the secret movie. Each secret film is handpicked for a truly memorable audience experience. The genre changes every month and hints are dropped via social media to keep everyone guessing.
