Weinberg’s Diaries explores the life and music of Mieczysław Weinberg, a compelling voice of the 20th century whose work reflects both profound hardship and artistic triumph.
Commemorating the 30th anniversary of his death, the concert features distinguished guest violinist Mikhail Kopelman, professor at the Eastman School of Music and former first violinist of the Borodin Quartet. Kopelman joins School of Music faculty to perform Weinberg’s powerful Piano Quintet.
