Our weekly swing & jazz party with dancing, Wednesdays at Woodlane Social Club. This week it's our end-of-the-month solo special!6:30 - Doors Open: we'll have tunes on, and an opportunity for a warmup dance.
7:00 - Solo Jazz! Learn some individual vernacular jazz steps, and we'll work on how you can use and style them to jam out on yer own or in a group!
8:00 - Beginners' Lindy Hop class - whether you're brand new or been dancing a few months, this class always starts from the fundamentals.
All of our classes are drop-in, and we change up the content each week. No need to book or bring a partner, just bring yourself and enjoy!
9:00-late - The main event, the social! This is what it's all about. We bring the music, you bring yourselves, and we all chat and dance.
We have an private bar in the venue, and encourage everyone to buy a drink.
PRICING (cash only on the door)
£8 for the whole night, or £5 for just the social.
Dance Pass: a 5-stamp voucher, no expiration date. £25 full pass, £20 social-only pass
We're a volunteer-run, volunteer-led event, and all proceeds go towards running costs and future events. We're always recruiting for more volunteers, so speak to one of the team if you're interested.
