Weekly LBP Party Ride!

Here is our "About" info! Every Friday we have a ride. During the week the actual Event info will be posted for the route that week. This is just a reminder with our basic info! So here goes...
LBP is a casual yet zesty cruise around town and the surrounding area.
- How far? 15-20 miles
- How fast? 10-12mph/avg, often 13-14mph. You should be in shape with a solid bike, experience riding in a bumpy city, fine on uphills.
- When do we ride? Fridays, 6 pm & roll by 6:45ish in summer.
- Where do we meet up? Lansing Bike Co-op, 1715 Kalamazoo St, Lans.
We ride above 40 deg. in decent weather with or without an official event posted. (We do try to post ride info earlier each week.)
We ride about an hour with a social stop, then a stop for food'n'bev, then ride back. We end up riding at night so bring lights. Temps drop so along bring a jacket. Boomboxes and bell-ringing -- yes!
Bring snacks, water, tools, tube. We ride responsibly and get along w drivers and neighbors. Follow the leader and listen! Stick together. Avoid zoom ahead, dawdle behind, or stopping in the middle of the road -- or startling anyone. Group skilz! 17 yrs + 300 rides = no trouble!
Rides happen other days, too, and with different styles -- check Events. Post your own rides! (Check with group admins if you're not sure about putting together your first group ride.) Share other rides in the region!
