Hospice Care Plus offers a weekly Grief Support Gathering to the families we serve and the community at large. The group meets each Friday from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hospice Care Plus & Compassionate Care Center, 350 Isaacs Lane in Richmond. Pre-registration is required before attending for the first time. Our grief support coordinator, Denise McKinney, says the weekly group is relaxed and informal. “There is never any pressure to talk. Sometimes, it is helpful just to be present with people who understand,” says Denise.

Hospice Care Plus’s Grief & Loss Support Services are available to the families of those we care for as well as to residents of our six-county service area: Estill, Jackson, Lee, Madison, Owsley, and Rockcastle counties.
All grief support services are provided at no charge. Donations to our non-profit organization make this possible.
