What: Come and join for all things Weekending!
Whether you would like to find out more about becoming a Weekend Foster Carer, are currently going the recruitment process, or have already been matched, we'd love to see you!
Where: We'll be at The Stable Games Room in Weston-super-Mare from 7pm on Friday 26th June, there will be food and drinks provided.
As a Weekender, you can build lasting relationships with children or young people in foster care by offering guidance, inspiration, and stability during one weekend per month.
The evening will be really informal, I will talk a bit about my expereince as a Weekender and then I can answer any questions. The evening will be a great chance to meet other people exploring Weekending and be in a room of lovely likeminded people.
Who Should Attend:
- Individuals or couples interested in making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.
- Those curious about the fostering process and how it all works.
- Those already involved in Weekend fostering - this counts towards your peer support requirements
- Please also invite any friends if you think they would make a good Weekender.
