Weekend Workshop: Intro to Copper Foil Stained Glass

In this three-hour workshop, participants will learn the basic steps behind stained glass from grinding glass to burnishing and soldering to complete their own two-piece butterfly and flower hanging sun-catcher.
Each kit includes everything needed to explore the steps involved in creating your own stained glass piece using this 1000 year-old technology. No AI here. Making art together increases social connections. You will leave with your own finished piece!
After learning the basics of copper foil stained glass about two years ago, Tony Perez realigned with a calling felt since 2006 on arriving in San Antonio. Through mobile stained glass workshops and pop-up art markets, Tony is committed to realizing "ANTX Studio for Arts and Projects"; a third-space for people to engage in arts and projects going back a thousand years: stained glass, metal casting, and other social projects involving welding, painting, and more. "Log off. Unplug. Stain glass." This is the space for peace and community.
