Thursday Night Music at Rockfish: Jon Werking TrioHaving opened for The Yellowjackets earlier this year, this trio features some of the finest jazz musicians and educators in SWVA.
Jon Werking has worked with such artists as Wynton Marsalis, The Manhattan Transfer, Roberta Flack (and many more), performed at two presidential inaugurations, played on many famous movie soundtracks, and performed on Tony-award winning Broadway shows. He holds degrees from Ithaca College and Eastman, and is currently Associate Professor of Jazz at Liberty University.
