Flower City Comic Con is taking over the RMSC for a weekend! Learn about the science found in popular comics and dive into new worlds. This event is FREE with admission! Programs & Activities:
- And the Winner Is..: Join us daily for cosplay contests!
- Hide and go Ship: Set sail across the Museum & Science Center to navigate to hidden ships with this scavenger hunt.
- 3D Painting: Watch your favorite objects from comics and Sci-Fi come to life as they are recreated live with our 3D printer.
- Create Your Own Super Hero: Meet some classic super heroes throughout the Museum & Science Center, and then get creative by imagining your own super hero through art!
- SUPER Electricity Theater: Experience heroic versions of our classic Electricity Theater shows, featuring two singing Tesla Coils.
- Ghostbusters: Make some slime with Slimer.
- Luv a Lotl: Learn about Cell regeneration and how axolotls can re-grow limbs.
- Rochester Children's Book Festival & Rochester's KIWI Authors: Meet local authors to talk about their books and attend readings.
- Regional Cosplay Groups: Meet and greet cosplayers from around Rochester and Buffalo.
- Artist Joshua Lopez: Meet with the artist to talk and learn more about color theory.
- Ken Wheaton: Watch Wheaton digitize comic art in-person.
