Living a Meaningful Life in Times of Turmoil
A Weekend Sadhana with Panos at Evergreen, Exarcheia
When the world feels unsettled, it can be difficult to stay connected to ourselves, to one another, and to what gives our lives meaning. The Bhagavad Gita offers a guide for meeting these moments with clarity, steadiness, and a deeper sense of purpose.
Over the weekend, Panos Katsandris, Evergreen’s founder and author of Bhagavad Gita: The Study Manual, will guide us in exploring the Gita’s teachings through satsang, practice, conversation, and kirtan. Panos brings the text into conversation with yoga practice and the questions we face in everyday life. You’re welcome whether you feel curious about the Gita, are looking for a way into yoga philosophy, or simply want space to reflect on life and the questions it brings.
Saturday
14:00–15:30 — Satsang: Dharma and the Meaning of Life
15:30–17:30 — Practice: Freedom and Discipline, followed by circle and kirtan
Sunday
11:00–12:30 — Practice: Receptivity as the Great Vehicle
12:30–14:00 — Satsang: Freedom in Restricting Times
From 14:00 — Free, open potluck brunch and conversation
Bring your questions about yoga practice, the Bhagavad Gita, or life in general. We’ll continue the conversation over brunch. All are welcome, whether you’re an Evergreen student or would simply like to get to know our community. Bring something to share if you know they would be interested.
If someone comes to mind who would enjoy exploring the Gita and practice with us, please invite them along.
Booking:
Each session is a separate drop-in and counts as one class. Students with an active class pass can use one class credit for each session they attend. New students can join all four sessions with the €55 Intro Offer, which also gives them a chance to try our regular weekly schedule. Returning students can use a 4-class-pass for the whole weekend.
The potluck brunch on Sunday is free and open to all who want to spend time together, share a meal, and discuss the practice over food.
