Join us at The Floating Bookshop as we celebrate WEEKEND OF LOCAL with Oklahoma's Small Businesses!
We'll be celebrating in the bookstore all weekend with 10% off Oklahoma Fiction and Non-Fiction titles when you tell us you're "here for the Weekend of Local"!
Why support small, locally-owned businesses this weekend (and every other weekend)?
Well, for starters, almost twice as much money from every single purchase stays in the local economy vs. chains (and you don't even want to hear how little of it stays local when shopping online). This also means more tax revenue for schools, parks, and more in the community!
We support local artists, writers and makers, helping make OKC, Oklahoma, and the world a more interesting, diverse place.
We support local non-profits: for instance, The Floating Bookshop donates to places like PeriodOKC, KOSU, and the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition.
