It's Still a Secret is proud to present Weekend Matinee; a celebration of original artists and their sonic creations provided in the glow of the afternoon hours.--
From the age of 10, the guitar has been Tom's first instrument and a true passion of his. Now, more than 25 years later, he has established himself as a sought-after session player, touring nationally and performing on main stages at various music festivals as part of various bands His distinctive guitar playing style is characterized by fingerpicking combined with percussive techniques on the soundboard, resulting in a rich, intricate wall of sound. His original compositions are a captivating blend of textured melodies, storytelling, and exploration. With his remarkable fingerstyle technique, nuanced tones, and experienced musical sensibility, Tom pushes the limits of what can be achieved on an acoustic guitar. The culmination of his dedication is evident in his debut album, ‘Spark,’ released in 2015, which was quickly followed by his selection to participate in the 2016 Guitar Masters competition in Europe.
