We'll host an art gallery at Mika in Brooklyn. You can enjoy around 100 artworks, drinking wine and talking with artist.
About this Event

Mika, a beautiful cafe in Brooklyn, will be transformed into an art gallery on Sunday. You will enjoy over 100 art works from the United States and Japan while drinking our welcome wine! We hope you'll find your favorite arts in our gallery.

*Welcome wine is first come first serve.

Artists from the United States:

Momo Akashi(Japone Drops):Illustrations of a Japanese modern girl in pre-war times, Toki who explores the beauty of East-meets-West culture.

Mayu Ichimori(Mahora):The themes and scents of our candles are influenced by the Japanese ideas of simplicity and elegance in crafting products with respect to the ingredients as well as the process involved. Each candle is hand-poured, made with a special blend of soy and coconut wax.

Poiful rugs (Pom drops):HOKKORI KAWAII hand made rugs. I’m making tufting rugs with various design that be inspired by Japanese culture and various experiences. They be with you as make your room brighter, as give a pleasure for your day, as a gift for people you like.

Mayuko Saito(Pom drops) :Handmade earrings / Acrylic painting on canvas

Saki Omura (Hipstercat006): Painting people and the scenery of NYC. Please enjoy my favorite scene in NYC.

Maxine Bell, Patty Mahaney, and Patty Mahaney(gukipama) :We're Gu, Kira, Patty, and Maxine (gukipama), a group of artists and friends with work ranging from prints to ceramics. We love experimenting with materials and creating works that make us smile.

Aki Takahashi (Japanese Electric Organist): I am an Orchestra!! I composed music and arrange by Electone(Japanese Electric Organ) Please enjoy my colorful and unique sounds.
