Whether this is your first or fifth baby, we encourage you to take a childbirth preparation class early in your third trimester. Birth classes are a great way to get to know other expectant parents, while getting ready for your baby's arrival. This one-day class will discuss different aspects of labor and delivery, and highlights ways partners can help and support you during the process. Topics include pregnancy, labor, comfort techniques, medical procedures, cesarean birth, newborns, and postpartum self-care.This is a one-day class, held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., one Saturday per month. Please bring a pillow with you to class. A light lunch will be provided.

This class is free to those delivering at CMH and $75 if delivering at another facility. Each class must have at least three registered patients, or it may be canceled.
