Hey everyone!
I’m very excited to be back in February and to have a beautiful weekend exploring the Blues.
This music and dance do not exist without folklore, culture and roots of past. We’re gonna explore these historic and the modern expressions in blues dance.
Why is it relevant more then ever? How do we translate it to our own body? How do we go from the groundwork into self expression through movement, developing your own style not by copying, but taking inspiration and developing our own dance language?
This time I’m happy to collaborate (also during some classes) with a wonderful musician from Berlin, Jakob Franken, that will surely inspire you and melt your ears off with his beautiful sound.
CLASS LEVEL
The classes are open level, but is not recommended for complete beginners.
SCHEDULE
Afternoon classes on Saturday and Sunday (approx. 14-18)
Saturday social dance with live music (starting 20:00)
Sunday tea dance / practica (starting 19:30)
PRICES
Full pass (workshop + saturday & sunday socials)
700 SEK for members / 900 SEK for non-members
There is no party pass but you can buy evening tickets in the door.
Saturday (with live music) 150 / 100 SEK
Sunday 50 / 100 SEK
