This program creates a weekend filled with fun and adventure to connect families back to each other and nature. Group activities will have families working as a team in competition and collaboration with other families to see who the ultimate “Camp Champ” is.
There is no age limit for this program, however activities are aimed at children between the ages of 6-14 years. Families of any size and seasoned camping vets or first-time campers are all welcome.
During this program, an RHF staff member will be present to orchestrate games and food, but the legal guardian is responsible for the well-being of the children they bring.
This program is free of charge to service members and their families. Registration opens for each session 2 weeks before that session’s start date.
Below is a list of required and recommended supplies. Families must have all the required supplies to participate. If you do not have a tent, RHF can provide one! We have limited supplies and offer them for the purposes of this program on a first come, first served basis.

- Sleeping bag, pillow, and blanket for each participant
- Reusable water bottles
