The Sierra Club’s national Transit 2 Trails for All (T2T) campaign aims to highlight lack of access to local, state, and national recreation and wild areas for nondrivers, and advocate for more clean, safe transportation options. The Coulee Region group is hosting our second-ever T2T event on Saturday, October 5, as part of "Week Without Driving"! We’ll meet at the Grand River Station Transit Center, 314 Jay Street, La Crosse a bit before 8:30 a.m. and catch the MTU bus to near the La Crosse River State trailhead off Co. Rd. B. Then, we’ll hike on state trail from that trailhead to River Valley Dr., before catching the bus back to the Transit Center. NO BUS EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
