For WEEK NINE we have RagDolls!! Rising quickly through the tribute ranks, RagDolls has garnered the type of critical acclaim - in the span of a few years - that takes most tributes years to achieve. Delivering energetic and powerful performances, RagDolls dig deep into the soul of America’s greatest rock and roll band. If imitation is the greatest form of flattery, then it is blatantly clear that these women capture the essence of Aerosmith out of a love for the music and its energy. Their ultimate goal: to leave audiences feeling like they’ve experienced the real thing.Dave Friday Band (opener 8/9)
Dave Friday is a Singer songwriter and guitar player as well as many other instruments such as bass, Piano, Drums. He started playing guitar at the age of 12 and started playing professionally when he was 15 years old. He made his way through the 80’s making his mark throughout the Bay Area playing in many hard rock back bands as a lead guitarist until he found his voice in 1989 and realized he could do both. In 1999 he started the band Whiskey Dust which would later become Dave Friday Band. Then in 2009 Dave fronted the Rock band Talon and toured parts of the U.S opening for many rock acts such as Warrant, Poison, April Wine, Lita Ford, and Vince Neil. He performed at the Dakota Rock Fest in 2009 2010 and 2011.
This event is FREE to the public. **No outside alcohol allowed. Beer/Wine are sold at the event** All beer and wine sales go towards paying for the bands, sound company, lights and all other operating costs. We can LOSE OUR ALCOHOL LICENCE if you bring in outside alcohol which would result in the CANCELATION of The Friday Night Music Series. Please help keep this event going strong by purchasing your alcohol at our beer and wine booth.
The Friday Night Music Series is a FREE family friendly, all-inclusive, community building event, providing Morgan Hill/South County a platform for entertainment and connection. We continue featuring the unique diversity of Morgan Hill with a cultural performance at each concert. You can experience music and performances from all genres and cultures. The wine and beer tent opens at 5:30pm. Opening band begins at 6pm, followed by the cultural performance at 7pm and the headlining bands at 7:30pm. Friday Night Music Series is an essential community building program, and we are so thrilled to have the opportunity to provide a beautiful night of community and entertainment thanks to the generous support of our Chamber Members and local businesses. We look forward to seeing you all at the 2024 Friday Night Music Series!
You are allowed to save your space with your chairs and blankets on FRIDAY ONLY. Please do not set chairs or blankets out on Thursday as they will be wet from the sprinklers and may be removed for the staff to do the needed set up. Morgan Hill Kiwanis organization provides multiple on-site dinner options and donates 100% of their nightly proceeds to various youth scholarship programs within the community. To highlight the many award-winning wineries located on the Santa Clara Wine Trail, ONLY local wines are poured at this event! Local businesses and community organizations are offered the chance to pour beer/wine at the event to increase their visibility and interact directly with community members. Chamber Members can set up a vender booth at NO CHARGE. Non-members, please email Lori at [email protected]. to reserve your space. The cost is $100 per concert. Chamber members get first option for vendor space. This is a valuable platform in connecting with the community and bringing visibility to their product/service/cause. The Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce and Supporting Sponsors are solely responsible for the organization, management, and funding of the FNMS.
