Join us for an unforgettable evening at Wednesdays with Friends, a weekly music series designed to bring the community together through live music, storytelling, and conversation! ๐ธ๐ถSet inside the immersive Lake Area Music exhibition, this intimate, laid-back gathering feels like spending the evening with old friends and strives to brings local history to life!
Chris Miller, a local Cajun music enthusiast, musician, and advocate, is a proud host and organizer of this series. Chris will lead each night with intentional conversation and questions, giving attendees a completely immersive experience.

Wade Falcon, Ron Yule, and Neal Granger, local music historians, authors, and bloggers, will take the audience on a journey through the legacies and history of the Lake Charles music scene.
A special treat for this evening: Danny Cormier, Jimmy Higginbotham, and more will join the stage to recreate the Apple Records recording of the Sundown Playboys "Saturday Nite Special". Danny is an OG member of the Sundown Playboys, and Jimmy is the son of guitar player Farrell Higginbotham.
