Starting from the Sign of the Takahe we’ll take Victoria Park Rd and Longhurst Tce to the start of the Latters Spur Track. This leads to the Sugarloaf Carpark where we’ll take Cedrics Track and Gilpins Track around the peak and cross Pukeatua/Dyers Pass to the sign of the Kiwi. After a quick walk around Coronation Hill, the Harry Ell Track will take us back to the Sign of the Takahe.
The total distance is 8.6 km with 290 metres elevation gain, expect to take about 2 hours.
