Wednesday Night Waves – Boulder, CO

Dear Boulder, Denver & Colorado dance community,

I am so excited to be heading your way to offer a 5Rhythms class at the Starhouse on September 11th.

So much has happened since I last visited... My intention is to offer a 5Rhythms journey through the Waves map which in many ways is the skeleton and scaffolding of most conscious & ecstatic dance as we know it today. I’ll be weaving some of our unique & diversified New York City magic, all in the name of inclusion, community and togetherness.

I wouldn’t be able to do this without the help of Harwood & Sonja and I couldn’t be more grateful!

Looking forward to seeing you on the Dancefloor.

ARIEL'S BIO

I grew up in Israel with an American father and an Israeli mother. The family dynamics were challenging, I served time in the military, and ultimately never felt like I belonged. Coming to the states in 2001, movement became my refuge.
I’ve been a 5Rhythms practitioner for over 20 years and I’ve been a teacher of the practice for the past 8 years. The 5Rhythms is a movement meditation practice where we dance and put form to the many layers of our lives. Through the portal of the dance, we invite ourselves to process, release and discover insight and connection.
I’ve been fortunate to study with Gabrielle Roth, the founder of the 5Rhythms as well as many of her peers and long time students, who are now teachers.
In many ways, holding space for people to find their truth through the body in motion has been my life purpose.
I hope we get the chance to dance together.
