Wednesday Night Special is a new monthly comedy extravaganza where nationally touring comics come to the Show Bar stage for one night only. Our headliners have been on Comedy Central, Netflix, HBO, Amazon Prime, all the late-night shows, and some of the most famous stages in the country. WNS will also feature an acclaimed local comic to start the evening off and maybe even the occasional super-secret special guest. Whatever the line-up - funny is guaranteed!
Hosted every month by Don Gavitte... Wednesday Night is now truly special.

Kyle Kinane
Kyle Kinane is a comedian from Addison, Illinois. According to Wikipedia, he is a notable person from that town. Other notable residents of Addison have been the boxer Leon Spinks and a woman who wrote poetry about Beanie Babies. Raised in such a cultural fondue pot as this, it was natural for Kyle to find his way from warehouse work into show business. As a comedian, he has been seen on Conan, The Tonight Show, Netflixâs âThe Standups,â and three of his own hour-length specials on Comedy Central. As an actor, heâs been in the Judd Apatow series âLoveâ and truTVâs âThose Who Canât.â He was also on âDrunk History,â where he unfortunately wasnât acting. As a voice over actor, he was the former voice of Comedy Central for 8 years and currently plays Bullet on the Netflix series âParadise PD.â He is also cohost of the Boogie Monster podcast along with Dave Stone, and the streaming show âHey Girlâ with Matt Braunger. As a musician, he has done nothing, as he is not a musician.
Mx. Dahlia Belle
Hilarious, ignant, and the best sort of mess, Portland-based comedian Mx. Dahlia Belle has been compared to a Swiss Army knife â different tools to extract sharpness, softness, vulnerability, hope and wicked wit â as seen on Hannah Gadsbyâs âGender Agendaâ on Netflix. Voted the funniest of Willamette Weekâs Funniest Five, she has been a repeat guest on NPR, CBC, XRAY FM and Portland Radio Project. Her writing has appeared in Cosmopolitan Magazine, The Guardian, The Stranger and Portland Mercury. Live performances have included the NW Black Comedy Festival, Upper Left Comedy Festival, Lysistrata Comedy Festival, and an awkward conversation with John Waters and Piers Morgan.
