GENERAL FORMAT FOR THE EVENING:
RACE 1— Scratch Race: A standard 20 lap race.
RACE 2— Motor pace assisted Points Race: A 40 lap race with points awarded for the first 3 to cross the black line on laps 30, 20, 10 and double points for the last lap. Race point totals determine final race positions for 3-race point assignments.
RACE 3— Miss and out: A race that eliminates the last rider in the group every other lap, until the last 2 riders remain. They get a 3 lap match race to the last lap.
OR Unknown Distance—a Scratch race that could run from 6 laps to X?. NO ONE will know until the bell rings!
GROUP B RACES
RACE 1— Scratch Race: A standard 10 lap race, 1st across the line on the last lap wins.
RACE 2— Miss and out: A race that eliminates the last rider in the group every other lap, until the last 2 riders remain. They get a 3 lap match race to the last lap.
RACE 3— Unknown Distance—a Scratch race that could run from 6 laps to ?. NO ONE will know until the bell rings!
The Race Official has the last word on placements, points and results.
Rider's GROUP assignment is at the Race Director’s Discretion.
GROUP A: $175 total Prizes are for combined 3-race results: 1st Prize: $100, 2nd Prize $50, 3rd Prize $25.00
GROUP B and W: $85 total Prizes are for combined 3-race results: 1st Prize: $50, 2nd Prize $25, 3rd Prize $10.00
Minimum 8 rider field required for each event (except Keirin, if it occurs)
Races will be run as weather permits. Minimum 3 races per evening. Race results combine for the evening podiums and prizes.
Race format may change and/or races may be divided, added, combined or subtracted at the Race Director's discretion for safety and equity in racing.
