Gus Burns is a singer-songwriter from Caldwell, Kansas who has cut his teeth from Kansas City down to Texas but most recently making name for himself in the Oklahoma music scene. His musical style is one of honest lyrics that come from the heart and relate to his audience, blended with a honky tonk attitude that only comes from years of playing beer joints and dive bars. With roots in Red Dirt and traditional country, Gus is bringing back the classic Americana sound that music fans have been missing and are so captivated by.
Gus released his self titled EP “Gus and the Saddle Tramps” in late 2021, but dropped the name “saddle tramps” in 2022. Gus is a hard living troubadour and his songs reflect stories of good times, heartbreak and love lost.
