Swing Dance Adelaide are BEYOND excited to announce that we will be hosting a new regular social dance, the Wednesday Night Hop! Starting from January, we'll be dancing up a storm at the Prospect RSL (1 Menzies Crescent, Prospect) on the third Wednesday evening of the month.
The bar will be open and the disco ball will be ON.
Here are all the details:
Location and getting there: Prospect RSL, 1 Menzies Crescent, Prospect. There's on-street parking nearby, or if you're catching public transport the RSL is right in the middle between Prospect Road and Main North Road. Check Adelaide Metro for more timetable info: https://www.adelaidemetro.com.au/
What time: Join us for a Come and Try Class at 7:00pm (perfect for total beginners, no partner or experience required), followed by social dancing from 8:00pm.
Cost: $20 for class and social ($15 students/concession) or $10 for social only ($5 students/concession). Tickets available on the door, cash and card facilities available.
What to bring: Comfortable shoes (preferably something you can pivot/twist in), spare shirt if you're a sweaty betty, water bottle, hand fan or sweat towel (optional for keeping fresh in the summer months).
This event is held on the lands of the Kaurna people, who are the Traditional Custodians of the Adelaide Plains. We pay respect to their cultural and spiritual beliefs and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
