Jorge Lara and Aram Avagyan will do battle in a ten-round super featherweight bout in the main event of the March 22 ProBox TV card at the ProBox Events Center in Plant City, Florida.
The card will also feature undefeated fighters Angel Vazquez, Dominique Valle and Omar Rosario in separate bouts.
Jorge “Pilon” Lara (29-2-2, 21 KOs) born and raised in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, made his pro debut in 2010 and began his career with four straight knockout wins. Jorge has notable wins over former world champion challenger Mario Briones and former WBC Silver champion Oscar Ibarra. The biggest win of his career, however, came in 2016 when he knocked out three-time world champion Fernando “Kochul” Montiel in round one.
Aram “Warrior” Avagyan (10-1-2, 4 KOs) is a 2016 Olympian, was born in Yerevan, Armenia and now resides in California. He made his pro debut in 2016 and was undefeated going into his last bout. Always looking for tough competition, his last six fights were against undefeated boxers.
