On Wednesday 16th September 2026 the Wesley Lunchtime Concert series is delighted and honoured to welcome the return of the distinguished organist Callum Tolhurst-Close in a performance of works spanning 400 years of composition. From the texture of Buxtehude’s Northern Germany to the grandeur of the English Cathedral tradition, this recital will showcase the colour and range of Wesley’s grand organ.
Callum Tolhurst-Close is a versatile Australian musician working as a musical director, conductor, repetiteur, collaborative artist and soloist, with performances broadcast on ABC Classic FM and ArtSound Canberra. His recording credits include Max-Peter Meyer's Dunera Mass, now held in the State Library of NSW's permanent collection.
