This is a Facebook event for combat practice held Wednsdays in the Barony of Dreiburgen within the Society for Creative Anachronism. Attending practice is open to anyone interested and is free of charge. Minors must bring adult supervision. Practice happens on the grass between the Baseball Fields and Playground. There are no formal classes, per se, however there are experts in several fields available to train fighters and answer questions in three types of medieval or renaissance combat styles. Loaner gear is often available for new participants to try out, if set up in advance. Types of Combat:

Armored Combat practices and recreates 12th century armored foot combat, simulated with rattan weapons. Pell training, unarmored instruction and casual armoring activities are common.
Rapier Combat practices and recreates late 15th and early 16th century civil combat, simulated by epees, schlagers, and practice rapiers.
