How many miles is the tour? The tour is about 3/4 miles in length, looping around Lakewood's buildings and Section 2 at a slow to moderate pace. The terrain includes paved roads as well as grass. Parts of this tour may not be wheelchair or scooter accessible. If you wish to attend using a wheelchair or scooter, please email us at [email protected] so your guides can plan an accessible route.

Where and when does the tour meet? Meet your tour guide outside of Lakewood’s historic Memorial Chapel. Directional signs will be posted. Arrive any time after 5:15 and the group will begin the walk at 5:30.

Will restrooms be available? Restrooms will be available at the start and end of the tour in the chapel.

What is the difference between a free ticket and adding on an optional donation? There is no difference in terms of your tour experience. Optional donations to the Lakewood Heritage Foundation help support educational programming and the preservation and restoration of Lakewood's landscape, art, architecture and public spaces — for the benefit of all.
