Join us for this month's concert with the talented singer-songwriter James Ibur, accompanied by a retinue of different local musicians playing different instruments and genres. This set is never the same twice!
This month, James is joined on stage by special guests Von Ibur & Ben Von Harz,
Sean Garcia & Chris Grabau, and Danny Bess.
THE ARTISTS
James Ibur is a multi-disciplinary visual artist, professor, and songwriter, as well as frontman for the St. Louis rock alt-rock band Flying House. His heartfelt, guitar-driven style pulls influences from blues, rock, folk, and country to create a sound all his own.
Ibur is joined by a diverse group of artists and educators whose creativity extends beyond any one discipline. The result is a unique showcase that celebrates what can happen when varied talents share the same stage.
THE SPACE
The WEvent Space is a distinctive venue located in the heart of the Tower Grove South neighborhood, set within a beautifully restored church. Embracing the spirit of its historic roots, the space provides a laid-back, welcoming setting for a wide array of local live acts. Central to its mission is the WEConcert Series—an ongoing effort to reestablish the former church as a vibrant hub and gathering place for the community. Through music, art, and connection, WEvent Space invites all to be part of a shared creative experience in one of the neighborhood’s most unique venues.
