Weaving Workshop Inspired by I've Been Here Before

This collaborative workshop led by Cathie Jamieson and Jill Price explores weaving, braiding, and sculptural making using natural and gathered materials. Participants will learn about traditional and contemporary approaches to working with materials such as roots, grasses, vines, bark, reeds, and other found or foraged elements, while considering the relationships between land, sustainability, storytelling, and craft.Through demonstrations and guided experimentation, participants will create a woven mat or small basket.

The workshop emphasizes process, material knowledge, and hands-on learning, encouraging participants to explore texture, connection, and creativity through tactile making practices.
