This beginner workshop will dive into the world of weaving guided by the talented Carly Wallace. Carly Wallace is a Dulguburra Yidinji rainforest woman from Yungaburra on the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland and is the owner and creator of .
In an intimate weaving circle with Carly, you will learn basic weaving techniques and walk away with a woven creation of your own. Create your own unique woven piece to display at home while enjoying the company and conversation.
Carly will guide you step-by-step through the process of weaving. You'll have the opportunity to experiment with raffia, colours, and patterns, allowing your creativity to flourish. During this workshop you’ll also get to know Carly and her personal story and journey behind her weaving practice.
