Try your hand at weaving on a custom Big Loom and recycle your old textiles at Avondale Library!About this Event
Bring in your clean, pre-loved clothing into the library. We will cut and weave them into a community tapestry, rag rugs, bag straps or wall hangings! Choose your own adventure.
Learn all about this ancient craft through making and discover new ways to repurpose your old cotton t-shirt. Local artist & weaver, Esther Toclo will guide you through basic weaving techniques, tips and tricks.
All experience levels and ages welcome. Ages 16 and under must be supervised by guardians.
