Weaving a Tea Towel

From Planning to Finishing

Tea towels are a great way to improve our weaving skills. In this class, we will learn how to design or choose an appropriate tea towel pattern, then we will learn how to estimate the amount of yarn we require to weave a project. From there we will review warping and dressing our loom. Techniques in weaving will be discussed and demonstrated. Finally when the weaving is completed instruction will be provided on how to properly hem our tea towels. This class is intended for weavers that have some experience in weaving and for weavers that would like to brush up on their skills.
