Tour the Sunny Bank Mills Archive with textile artist David Fox and weave your own bracelet.
About this Event

Explore our Archive with artist and studio holder David Fox and become inspired to create in this unique workshop.

Over the years David has been inspired by our textile heritage and along with fine art pieces, has made a collection of woven bracelets that are based on our collection. Come be inspired by the archive and make your own bracelet, or go in your own direction like a true Sunny Bank Mills designer.

During this workshop you’ll be weaving your own bracelet on a small frame loom. Attachments will be added during your workshop which will then enable you to wear and take your bracelet home.

You’ll learn how to warp up a frame loom, weave, and finish your woven bracelet, all skills you can continue to develop at home with your own frame loom.

This workshop is compleatly beginner frendly.

By attending this workshop you are supporting our Museum & Archive, with a donation of £7 per ticket.
