Outcome: Learners will weave 4 to 5 coasters
What you will learn:
Set up your Rigid Heddle loom for weaving
Weave 4 or 5 coasters
Hemstitch your edges
Remove and finish your coasters by fulling
Materials List
Rigid Heddle loom with a 5” minimum weaving width (Rental looms available!)
12 dent reed
2 stick shuttles
Pattern – Simple Woven Coasters from Gist yarn (Free download)
100 yards of any color of Gist Beam 3/2 cotton, Mallo Cotton Slub, or Duet Cotton/linen yarn
12 yards of a Different color of the SAME yarn
Blunt tapestry needles
Sharp scissors
Note taking materials
