About this Event
Join us for "Weave Your Way: A Beginner's Guide to Weaving," led by Bryana Bibbs, artist and founder of The We Were Never Alone Project. Bryana, an experienced weaver, created this project to share her passion for weaving with the community and provide a safe haven for survivors of domestic violence. In this workshop, participants will learn the art of weaving and have the opportunity to connect with others in a creative and supportive environment.
Participants will be provided with materials such as:
- yarn
- weaving needles
- cardboard loom
It is encouraged for participants to bring their own experimental materials (such as plastic bags, tees, ties, jeans, scarves, old denim, etc.) to weave with.
