Please join Conservation Nebraska in welcoming Dr. Junghwa Choi from the University of Nebraska Omaha who will talk about the role of natural space conservation in mitigating climate change impacts and buffering against extreme weather events.
This presentation will demonstrate that conservation is not solely an environmental practice, but rather a critical component of safeguarding communities from the adverse effects of climate change. Furthermore, the presentation will emphasize the importance of community-led preparedness plans that incorporate environmental stewardship.
