Mr. Enoch Cheng, AVP and Regional Consultant, State Street Investment Management
Enoch Cheng is a Regional Consultant at State Street Investment Management responsible for increasing the market share of SPDR ETFs, SMAs, UMAs, and Model Portfolios in the Tri-State Region (NYC, Long Island, Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey.)
Prior to State Street Investment Management, he spent time developing Wealth Management subject matter expertise within Goldman Sachs' Private Wealth Management practice and PwC's Asset Management Advisory practice.
He is a trusted strategic business advisor to the largest fitness, high jewelry, and entertainment companies in the world. In his free time, he enjoys photography, hiking, skiing, reading, traveling, indoor cycling, horology, and mentoring the next generation of professionals. He is in the midst of pursuing his CFA Charter (Level 1 Passed June 2018)
Enoch Cheng graduated from Chapman College with a B.S. major in Business Administration, and minor in computer science.
Mr. Fred Huang, Managing Director, Forest Hills Financial Group
Fred Huang is a Managing Director and Wealth Management Advisor at Forest Hills Financial Group (FHFG) with nearly 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Fred is leading a boutique team serving the rapidly growing Asian, and Asian-American clients, particularly in the space of cross-border high net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs and professionals such as doctors, lawyers, accountants and realtors.
Fred began his career as a university English teacher in China where he received a B.A. in English & Economics from University of International Business & Economics (UIBE), Beijing. Selected as one of the 30 Chinese government-sponsored scholars to study in Singapore in mid-1980s, he further obtained a diploma/M.A. in Education from National University of Singapore (NUS). After 4 years of teaching, he later hopped to work at one of the top investment companies under State Science and Technology Commission of China (SSTC) for 4 more years before coming to the U.S. to pursue his MBA at University of Pittsburgh in 1994.
Interestingly, Fred started his U.S career in New York at WPP group, a global advertising agency as an account executive in charge of marketing, branding and advertising campaigns targeting Asian-American consumers for corporate clients like Prudential, HSBC, AT&T and UnitedHealthcare. In 2002, Fred pivoted to financial services industry as a financial professional and registered representative at MetLife. Prior to joining Forest Hills Financial Group - a platinum GA of Guardian Network and wealth management firm with 100+ advisors, Fred was in both advisory and leadership roles responsible for individual production, team building, sales growth at several Fortune 100 companies including MetLife, New York Life and Prudential. He earned prestigious honors and performance recognitions, such as Management Chairman’s and President’s Council, Leadership Round Table Member, Top 50 Partners, Leaders Club and MDRT membership. During the last 2 decade, he assumed increasing leadership roles from sales director, branch manager/principal, senior partner to managing partner (promoted) positions. Fred is holding a Chartered Leadership Fellow (CLF) designation, and securities licenses S6, S63, S7, S66 and S24 as well as insurance licenses Life & Health (L&H), Property & Casualty(P&C). He is a registered investment advisor representative (IAR) and financial advisor (FA) with Park Avenue Securities - a broker-dealer and investment advisor of Guardian Life.
Dedicated to his profession and communities, Fred is elected national President of Asian American Insurance and Financial Professionals Association (AAIFPA), and past President of AAIFPA Northeast Chapter. He also serves as a Board Member of Asia Finance Society (AFS), and Vice President of Sino-American Commerce Association of New York, and a Member of Chinese Community Church of New York, which supports new immigrants, students, and families. In 2022, Fred was named on the 50 Asian-American Leaders List by New York’s prestigious business magazine Crain’s. In 2023-2024, Fred enrolled in Columbia Business School (CBS) Executive Education Program and obtained a certificate in Strategic Wealth Management and Family Enterprise Wealth. His vision is to build and enhance financial literacy and strategic wealth management skills and practice for the first- and second-generation Asian-American businesses, entrepreneurs and cross-border immigrants.
In his spare time, Fred enjoys hiking, running, travel, photography, reading and cooking.
Mr. Frank Mah, Managing Director, Transnational Capital Corp.
Frank Mah is a Managing Director at Transnational Capital Corp. (TCC), a New York City-based investment bank focused on raising private equity and debt capitals, providing M & A advisories, for emerging growth companies in China, the Americas and Europe. Frank has extensive experience in both the equity and high yield fixed income markets. His professional experience in Asia included China, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong and Macau. Prior to joining TCC, Frank held senior positions at global investment banks that included Lehman Brothers, Citibank, and Nomura Securities International. He started his career in Research at Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette where he covered the Gaming, Lodging, and Food Retailing sectors. Frank was voted by investors into Institutional Investor Magazine’s All American Research Team in Gaming. He was born in Hong Kong and learned to speak Putonghua in New York City. Frank earned his MBA in Finance from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
