About this Event
How do the rich avoid paying their fair share?
Would a wealth tax work?
What would a better tax system look like?
Especially with this year's election cycle, we've been hearing about taxes and wealth so much––about our state overrelying on the tax revenue from the top 1%, or that the wealth tax is good or bad, or about the overpaid CEO tax.
It is confusing and convoluted, and we are in desparate need of an expert to help us understand.
Ray Madoff is that expert, and a professor at Boston College Law who has studied and explained about our tax system and how the rich avoid paying their fair share for decades.
Join us for this exciting evening to explore some of these questions together.
