We the Web | Embodied Sound Exploration

This offering is a body-mind-soul nourishing exploration of the voice through practical technique, toning, and collaborative song creation. We aim to hold a space that is safe and accessible, to allow folks to lean into the edges of vocal expression.

The summer brings us into a time of beauty and bounty, and all the possibilities and plans can lead to feeling overwhelmed and over booked. As we prepare to welcome the fullness of summer into our lives, join us for an evening of Embodied Sound Exploration on the theme of Expansion and Containment. Express the feeling of these opposing experiences through movement and sound, and perhaps you will find it easier choose balance in your body at high summer.

Doors open at 6:20pm, event from 6:30 pm - 8:30pm. Please arrive on-time

Helga Beer Yoga Studio at the edge of Fernwood and Oaklands

1600 Bay Street, Unit 2. Entrance on Shakespeare St.

Go up the elevator to the second floor and turn right.

The studio has yoga mats, bolsters, and blankets for your comfort.

No experience necessary, everyone welcome!

We begin our evening by tuning into the breath, using it as a guide into embodiment and movement. Tamara will lead us into connection with The New Earth Grid and the creation of a crystal grid, allowing for a collective offering of intensions and prayers, supported by the incredible crystalline beings.

We will be gently and safely guided through warming up our voices as we explore the structure of sound creation that will support our freedom of expression when we join our voices in song.

Nicole will support the exploration of our theme for the evening: Expansion and Containment. As we tune into the places within us where these experiences may live, we will invite them into movement and sound as we collectively create a song in offering to this axis of expression. We will also sing a blessing song to honor summer.

We close the evening by gently bringing our voices inward and receive a crystalline sound bath.
