This December, We Really Like Her! invites you to feast your eyes on a 15th anniversary screening of Nora Ephron’s final film (and parting gift to the world), Julie & Julia.
Based on two true stories, Julie & Julia seamlessly intertwines the lives of modern-day New Yorker, Julie Powell (Amy Adams), and groundbreaking chef, Julia Child (Meryl Streep). In an attempt to find purpose outside of her mundane office job, Julie embarks on a year-long mission to cook all 524 recipes from Julia Child's ‘Mastering the Art of French Cooking’, documenting the journey in a blog. Meanwhile, the film also explores Julia's time spent in 1950s France, where she discovers her love for French cuisine and begins work on her classic cookbook. With Stanley Tucci, Chris Messina, and Jane Lynch in supporting roles, the entire cast is delectable.
