We Long for Simplicity - Yet We Create Complexity
About this Event
We Long for Simplicity
Yet We Create Complexity
Most of us long for a simpler life, yet we often find ourselves overwhelmed—too much to do, too many commitments, too much coming at us.
And yet, much of what fills our lives began with choices we made. We said yes. We subscribed. We committed. Somehow, the things we chose can begin to feel like things we have to do.
For a few hours, let’s slow down and explore another way. We’ll practice bringing calm to busy moments, question the “have-to’s” that drive us, and notice how our minds can turn simple activities into pressure.
Together, we’ll consider what nourishes us, what drains us, and where we might create more space, gentleness, and simplicity in our lives—all without judgment.
Perhaps we’ll discover something to add, something to let go of, or simply a new way to approach what remains.
Come pause, reflect, and rediscover the simplicity that may already be within reach.
The class will be taught by Will Handy, a retired psychotherapist who has been incorporating Buddhist teachings into his practice for decades.
