A poetry + storytelling event, featuring BIPOC trans/GNC/intersex performers and creatives in our community. Centering lived experiences of our collective resistance + resilience.

WHEN: November 20th
WHAT TIME: 7:30pm - 9:30pm
WHERE: Carrboro Town Commons, 301 W Main St, Carrboro, NC 27510
ACCESSIBILITY: MASKS REQUIRED, wheel chair accessible, there will be parking + accessible bathrooms available to attendees. This event is outside, please dress warmly + bring a chair if you can't stand for long periods.
There will be an altar to our lost. Attendees will be given a chance to say a prayer, whisper an affirmation, + light a candle to honor lives taken too soon by violence.
Suggested Contribution: $10
-No one turned away due to lack of funds
- All proceeds will be split between the QTIPOC Survival Fund: Chapel Hill - C'boro - Rural NC + UNC's QTPOC student mutual aid group
-BIPOC performers/speakers/organizers compensated by the generous support of Equality NC, Campaign For Southern Equality, the Orange County Rape Crisis Center, NC Coalition Against Sexual Assault, and the UNC LGBTQ Center
