"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal." America was founded on these words in 1776, but we are still a long way from true equity.Join the Choir School and Delaware Humanities as we explore Black History in America since 1900 through song. WEATHER by Rollo Dilworth anchors the program, setting a poem by Claudia Rankine that grapples with racial injustice and the pandemic in Summer 2020. An introduction by the composer and a panel discussion will guide us as we explore these themes.
