We Hold These Truths: A Choral Concert for America's 250th

What is our dream for the United States? This free choral concert marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, bringing together voices across generations: Liverpool High School Treble Ensemble, Nottingham High School Treble Choir, SU Vox Salina, Ensemble Sonora, and Spirit of Syracuse. At the heart of the program: the world premiere of commissioned works by Syracuse University composers Dr. Loren Loiacono and Dr. Natalie Draper, performed by Ensemble Sonora — including a piece weaving together iconic American texts like "America the Beautiful," "The New Colossus," and the Declaration of Independence itself.
Stick around after the concert — audience members are invited to add their own "My Dream for America is..." to a growing lobby display, becoming part of a living, collective portrait of hope for the country.
